Ashford Park Neighborhood Information

Ashford Park is a friendly neighborhood located north of Dresden Drive, west of Clairmont Rd, east of Peachtree Rd, and south of  New Peachtree Rd in the Intown community of Brookhaven between the City of Atlanta and the City of Chamblee in DeKalb County. There are two zip codes that encompass the neighborhood, 30319 and 30341. Most of the residents enjoy the benefits of not paying city taxes, except for a few streets that are located within the Chamblee city limits.

The homes were originally built in the mid 50's for the military personnel  who worked at the military base that was where Peachtree-DeKalb (PDK) Airport is now located. The original vintage 50’s ranch style homes usually have between 2-3 bedrooms and 1 - 1.5 baths.  The low 200’s starting price for original homes and the $300 - 400k  range for remodeled homes, make this area one of the last in-town neighborhoods where a first time homebuyer can make a home purchase that will undoubtedly enjoy the value appreciation being experienced by most in-town communities.  For people looking for new larger homes, there two story homes with 4-5 bedrooms and 2-4 baths, ranging from the low 400’s to the high 600's.   Most Ashford Park residents love the convenience, community feel and great property value appreciation of the neighborhood so much so that many choose to stay in Ashford Park and just trade-up.  Ashford Park is conveniently located within miles of great shopping and the highway:
